Osun State government recently launched the Opon Imo (tablet of knowledge).

The handheld android device uploaded with textbooks, lesson notes, virtual classroom, and other learning resources for secondary school pupils.

With a weight of 1.1kg, Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola said his Physics textbook was 10 times heavier than the tablet yet the digital device contains 63 textbooks, lesson notes for the 17 subjects taken in the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE), and JAMB past questions for the past 10 years.
It also features a virtual classroom, dictionary, bible, books on the history of the Yorubas and Opon Ifa, and developmental games.
